Audrey's Birthday cake

This cake was made for her birthday party at home. Like all the other girls, Audrey loves fairy tales especially princess' stories. Her stories always start with 'Once upon a time' and ended with 'Live happily ever afer'. She wishes she can be a princess one day...she always be our little princess. A little princess that loved by her mum and dad.

Audrey wanted a snow white cake but minus the evil queen and the magic mirror. I was so enjoyed making this cake. I started the decorations about a week before her birthday. There 7 dwarfs in the cake: Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, Sneezy and Doopey. I love Doopey...I think he is the cutest.

The cake was a passion fruit cake filled with passion fruit curd and covered with buttercream then decorated with fondant. All the details and trimmings were in fondant. On the side of the house was a magical tree with Audrey's favourite bird nesting on top.

All the princess' stories were just fairy tales but love is always real and true. We always love you our little princess...

Audrey's Birthday Cupcakes

Another birthday for my little girl...time really flies. I still can remember when she was a baby, I used to carry her everywhere I went. Now, she is too heavy for me to carry...she has grown and I'm old :-) Audrey is now 4...she is no longer a baby. She is now a little girl that goes to kinder and will be a school girl next year. These were the cupcakes that I made for her kinder's birthday.

Audrey always wants a pet especially rabbit but we think she is still to young to care for a pet. So we made a deal, pets cupcakes for this year not real pet.

The cupcakes were vanilla flavour and all the pets decorations were edible. I made 4 different kinds of pets; rabbits, cats, snakes and birds. Audrey loves them and her favourite one is the bird and she still keep her in a display box. Happy Birthday, baby girl....
